Pleasant Prairie offers an excellent mixture of recreational,
commercial, industrial and residential land uses. Our community
is proud to offer residents and visitors the highest quality of
life.
We welcome Jelly Belly Candy Company to the village. Down the
road from Jelly Belly is the LakeView RecPlex, located on the shore
of Lake Andrea in Prairie Springs Park. This is the largest recreational,
multi-purpose health and fitness facility in Southeastern Wisconsin.
The indoor facility includes an Aquatic Center and Waterpark, Field
House, Fitness Center and Suspended Walking/Jogging Track. Prairie
Springs park is a 425-acre park, with a 2.3 mile paved multi-use
in-line skating and bicycle trail around Lake Andrea, a 100 acre
spring-fed lake. The village is also the home of Prime Outlets,
one of the best bargain shopping areas in the Midwest, offering
over 65 designer outlet stores. Our community preserves it's beauty
by maintaining natural and scientific conservancy areas. Chiwaukee
Prairie, a wildflower preserve, and the Des Plaines River Floodplain
are evidence that Pleasant Prairie is a progressive urban community
set among a rural, country setting.
